  4.  
  5.     Programs, files or aliases that are launched every time you start up SCOM.

  7. Run
  8.  
  9.     Programs, files or aliases that you can run from the Tools/Run menu.

  11. Extensions
  12.  
  13.     This folder contains pfsl (compiled MCL Lisp code) or TEXT files containing
  14.     Lisp commands. They extend SCOM functionality. Buy a book of Lisp and discover 
  15.     the fun and power of Lisp programming!

  17. Documents
  18.  
  19.     This includes the internal document system items.
  20.  
  21. Tutorials
  22.  
  23.     Document-related programs, files  or aliases that can be run form the Tools/
  24.     Tutorials menu. Items with (web) extension require Netscape, and enough memory
  25.     to run Netscape and Symbolic Composer at the same time.

  29.     TEXT files than can be accessed from the Tools/Library menu.

  31. Midishare

  33.     Utility programs than enable to select MIDI ports, route Midishare applications,
  34.     and emulate MIDI Manager and OMS.

  38.     This folder contains example score files than show you basic working principles.

  40. About Aliases

  42.     Aliases of files and applications are valid. Alias of a folder is not accepted.
  43.     However, a folder containing aliases is ok.

  47. If you run out of menu item space you can remove these folders from the Environment
  48. folder:

  57. Customizing the folders

  59. To extend and customize the folder contents drag new files and folders into them.
